Match report Two steps forward, one step back.

After two good wins in a row, a poor batting performance led to our second loss of the season. After winning the toss and electing to bowl on a wicket still showing some dampness, another testing new ball spell from Wes and Lau led to BA being 60 for 4 after 20 overs, with Wes deservingly picking up three wickets. Following this, Steve Greaves and Andy Hitchcock took five wickets between them while making it hard for BA to score, and they were backed up by Ali Bee, who took yet another wicket with a googley! BA all out for 139.

In reply, Wes hit four quick boundaries, but both openers were soon out and wickets continued to fall regularly. A few batsmen got starts, including Pratik who top scored with 23, but no-one was able to go on to a match winning score. In the end, despite a very good effort from the lower order and Steve Greaves in particular, Ris were all out for 138, agonisingly short.

In the end, a disappointing result considering we took ten wickets for the forth time in four matches, and again fielded well.
