Match report This is more like it...won the toss again and elected to bat on a still, reasonably nice day.

Wes and Matt got off to a good start before Wes fell for 18, with Matt going on to score a patient and stylish 37 including a few lovely shots in the V. The middle order kept the runs going at a steady rate, with James Bee hitting some early boundaries and Pratik playing a fine, long innings, top scoring with 63 (including 12 boundaries), backed up by Lau who ended 30no. Hitch and Ali Bee came in towards the end for a mini 6 hitting competition, giving us a good total of 215 off 52 overs, with wickets still in hand.

In reply, Lau and Wes took regular wickets, with some help from the pitch in some cases, along with some questionable shots. Highlights included Wes's back of the hand slower ball, and a committed and very skillful effort behind the stumps from James Bee, on a difficult wicket. Wes ended with 4-35 from 12 overs and Lau 2-40 from 11. Then in customary fashion the spinners Steve and Ali came on to mop up the tail, with Ali taking 2 wickets in under three overs.

A comprehensive win and good performance all round.
