Princes Risborough Cricket Club 2nd XI v Brackley II on Sat 04 Jul 2009 at 1:30
Princes Risborough Cricket Club Won By 58 Runs

Match report PRCC lost the toss and were put in to bat on a good pitch which was slightly green owing to the need to use covers on the Friday. The Risborough score of 183-3 owed much to a lengthy partnership between opener Jon Witney (50) and no 4 Paul Daly, taking the score from 35-2 to 123 before they were parted. Steady bowling from Brackley slowed things down in the middle overs but strong strokes from Daly who ended up exhausted on 90 not out saw PRCC to a respectable but by no means safe total.
In reply Brackley lost wickets steadily thanks to tight bowling by Andy Sheldon and Imran Khan. At one point Wait's lusty hitting off Pitt's bowling started a minor recovery but the Brackley tail was too fragile to reach the target and they ended up 58 runs short.
PRCC's 25 points has done little to repair the damage done by the losses of the 2 previous weeks, leaving them in 4th place with a lot of ground to catch up.
